Just been to Aldi and they've reduced the price of the Western Digital 250Gb internal IDE hard drive to just £59.99.

The same model is on Ebuyer for £75.30.

sounds like a good deal to me, shame I'm looking at SATA drives for my next one once I get an A64 and a new motherboard :)

Aldi have some great offers on! dunno why anyone would diss them!

Not sure if it's the same in Sheffield but our Aldis have gone a bit more upmarket with a permanent non-food section, particularly computers and hardware, and more higher quality speciality foods and out with the 9p beans!

I did see them when I popped in, but as I said, our Aldi has gone a bit more upmarket and has a permanent electronics section where they sell electronics, such as DivX DVD players, printers, scanners, laptops and stuff.
