I loved them! Liked Geri the best, for obvious hair coloured reasons.

I loved them too !! Thought they were very good danceable/singalongable (!!) pop. I saw them at Wembley - they were fab ! I too liked Geri - she was a bit rock n roll with the outfits and fab hair.

They were, by and large, easy on the eye but ultimately they - and many other prefabricated c-class ex-model wannabe singers - are a good example as why music in the 1990s was so bland. Take That, then the monster called Boyzone....oh deary me.

They'd have been bottled off many a karaoke (which really was just about their level).

Having said all that, Viva Forever - nice, summery choon.

Baby Spice was about the nicest, Scary was too butch, the Posh one ended up with David Beckham, and the Sporty one was a chavette.

A very successful marketing gimmick sold on image rather than talent.

Geri seemed to have the most go-getting personality out of the lot so I suppose, if I had my arm twisted then I'd opt for her.
