You mean like "Hi Im Barry Scott..." so obviously dubbed! cgksheff 29-09-2005, 15:27 Nothing new here. There have always been international ads dubbed into the local country's accent or even language. Many of them were American ladies with 'big hair' talking with a Middle England lilt! My worst dubbed TV commercial along with the Ferrero Rocher is the Chupa Chubs ad!! :gag: ToryCynic 29-09-2005, 22:42 That 'Svit' advert is quite clearly dubbed - by the sounds of the name, probably from a Scandenavian language. Not sure about that 'Ace' advert... :) BoppinBruce 30-09-2005, 07:40 And why do all the new car ads have really old number plates? Hopman 30-09-2005, 16:18 Jeremy Nicholas on his website says that he is one of the faces of Ferrero Rocher in Germany. He also recalls suffering for his art when he had to drink fruit salts in a commercial. Unfortunately it took 13 takes... alchresearch 01-10-2005, 11:23 Originally posted by BoppinBruce And why do all the new car ads have really old number plates?
