I have an analogue radio, a DAB, an analogue television and a freeview box.

But if I switch them all on and listen to a time signal, they all give it out at different times. Maybe just a split second behind, like an echo, but which one should I set my watch to.

I use the "Forum Clock" Bruce, but don't mention it to the Mods.

Analogue Radio is usually going to be the most accurate.

After it goes All Digital, they will do away with the pips as they will not be that accurate anymore!

Blimey cgksheff you know how to hit a man where it hurts, no pips.

You'll tell me next they are taking off Mrs. Dales Diary.

Digital pips can never be 100% accurate because time is needed to digitize them for broadcast and then different machines operate at different speeds to reconvert them.

A split second!! You must have a fancy watch with a sub-second timer.

If you feel the need to synchronise you life to that level, may I suggest you ring the speaking clock..

I've used this (http://www.arachnoid.com/abouttime/) for years. Just takes a few seconds to correct you PC's clock.
