Wortley Top Forge is the oldest surviving heavy iron forge in the world with records dating the existing buildings back to 17th century.
Recent evidence indicates that cistercian monks may have settled in this area as early as 11th century.
Ghostly figures are frequently seen in the forge and surrounding area.

how do you get the 15quid tickets? i can only see tickets for 20quid, on the website

What would people do for the five hours in the dark?

I,l be at the Fire and Police Museum tomorrow from 2.30pm if any body wants tickets or information.
