Most pubs are child friendly, The Plough at Bradfield, Blue Bell, Wharncliffe side, The Castle at Bolsterstone are a few we've been in. The chinese on fitzalan square tramstop is good too, have loads of ice cream to choose from.

Tinies eat for free at Jumbo (chinese buffet opposite the Crucible) if you're eating too. Have taken my niece in at 18 months and they fell over themselves to help with her and smile to her. Even gave her a lolly as she left.

Heeley City Farm's a good 'short attention span' visit. A couple of hours filled, and no entry fee. The huge adventure playground at Magna is also great, although there's an entry fee. Sorry, don't know how much as we're members so never had to pay.
