Matt and Emma are off this week (yay!) so the legend that is Daryl Denham is covering drivetime :D

Monday and Tuesday were great and miles better than the usual crap! I don't feel like throwing the radio out the window driving home now!

Anyone heard it?

Yes I have and it has made me realise that Daryl should be on five days a week permenently. I think thay should get rid of Big John and his merry men and put Daryl back on breakfast - where he belongs.

Yeah, I agree! Tuned in today and was soooo pleased, those other 2 really annoy me!

Yeah I heard it, and it was the same old tat Hallam FM without the silly giggling that is Matt and Emma.

No big deal really, just slightly duller.

I enjoy listening to Daryl but does anyone know why he has back?

I thought he had moved up in the world?

Daryl left Hallam FM in 2000 to present the Breakfast Show on Heart FM in Birmingham. Then he was signed up by Virgin Radio, where he orignally did the Drive Time show. After a while he was moved to Breakfast but things didn't work out.

He eventually left Virgin and moved to Century FM in the North East.

I am not sure why he has come back to Hallam FM but I am glad. I just wish that he could get a show every weekday, rather than just Saturday morning.

Hallam FM's X rated breakfast show, anyone remeber that Daryl did it ones a month on a Friday evening. Was hilarious.

The show at 11pm with rude songs and such? I used to have a couple of CD's with it on... Daryl Denhams prime cuts :D

Anyone remember when he *apparently* gave out his real home phone number on air? It was a worksop number :D

I remember him giving out his home phone number and i used to cal him regular But he doesnt seem as funny to me this time i wonder if they have told him too be good. Im hooked on the Umberto show on real radio at night and i call him regular on the live phone in 10pm to 1am Monday to Friday you should tune in he is fab too.

Oh lord. It's Hallam fm. It's generic regional radio, the same as stations in Newcastle, Hull, Bristol, Plymouth, Edinburgh.

It's as funny as a slap in the face with a wet trout ...and such a limited playlist.

Dare I say (and only in my opinion) it is completely pointless.

BBC Radio Sheffield have got the scouser ( Jimmy Carrol )on in the afternoons now, the pensioner on a duck has gone I think ! Afternoons are superb now, give it a listen....

Is it a cheesy DJ rule that your surname and forename must start with the same letter???
