There is apparently £1bn worth of work to be carried out over a seven year period in Sheffield. This will include refurbishments and improvements to individual houses.

The article attached states that 10 contrators will be 'invited' to place bids for work. How do they decide which contractors will be invited?

I think that one of the most destructive elements within the social fabric of Sheffield culture is its servile tolerance and blind acceptance of inadequacy.
Parsons Cross, Shiregreen, Norfolk Park, Wybourn, Manor, Frechville, Jordanthorpe etc, etc, etc,
All those communities let down and betrayed.
All abandoned to anti-social behaviour and the criminal.
Don’t you people ever get angry?
Hard working, socially aware people have rights, or have they?
Do we have rights anymore or do we prefer to imagine we have.
