Just read the headline in our wonderful, ' Star ' that there may be more than 9 ' rough sleepers ' in the whole of S.Yorks. I should think so, too !
When I used to live in dear old Sheffield, people often said that I was ' rough & ready '. Some even said I looked, ' dead rough.' A lot of my old mates were definitely in the ' rough ' category. We all slept well and often-----sometimes till about 11 a.m when the pubs opened.
Surely, there are more than nine of us left in S.Yorks. ? Surely, S.Yorks. has not become another Tunbridge Wells ? Even Barnsley alone should have more than nine rough 'uns !
