I'm in Sheffield on Wednesday week (28th) and will be out on the town that evening. I've not been to Sheffield before so wondered where th best places are to go? I'll be on my own (male, 35) so any ideas gratefully accepted.

Where do the 30's singles go in Sheffield? I'd like to meet a lady or two! Please help.

Come on, come on. Surely there is somewhere that I can go on a Wed night? Where is the Red Light District for example?

Red Light stuff is down at Neepsend Lane, near the old factories and stuff.

But if you're really desperate, quiz night in the Crown and Glove on Uppergate Road in Stannington is usually good for a laugh.

Either that or pensioner's discount day in the B&Q on Penistone Road.

Go to Le Chambre adults club at Attercliffe - that'll certainly open your eyes...
