Sheffield United are about to sign ex Bolton and Fulham midfielder Andranik Teymourian after the player who has been training with Blackburn Rovers this summer decided against going on tour to Australia with the Lancashire club, but instead met The Blades after ex team mate Gary Speed brokered the deal by putting the player in touch with the club.

The player spent the end of last season on loan at Barnsley FC after failing to feature in then manager Hodgeson's plans, however upon hearing of his release Big Sam who took him to the premiership with Bolton made an immediate attempt to get him on Blackburns pay-roll, only to be snubbed by the iranian international who would rather opt for regular football.

Good job he wasn't playing tonight at Notts County or we'd still be there waiting for the introductions after the PA bloke had trouble with Mihkel Aksalu (about 4 goes at his surname) lol and Cheddarwin Evans

According to Wiki he can play as a “side midfielder” is that a bit like a winger?
