Thought I'd best mention the wee music festival happening at Dronfield Woodhouse Sports and Social Club on Sunday 8th August 2010 with the likes of FEELIX, StoneRun and Carus Thompson.

2010 is the start of a new era for The Dronfield Music Festival. We are delighted to announce that for the first time in our history, you will be able to enjoy some fabulous music over TWO stages.

Along with a brand new layout for the festival which will now see our main stage located on Dronfield Recreation Ground (just behind our normal home), we can proudly announce the introduction of a brand new acoustic tent.

A great event and the weather was kind too.

I loved Stonerun, although they didn't even frighten the kids. Carus Thompson was great as usual and I loved his old Telecaster.

On the acoustic stage I liked Charlie Barker. People with talent shouldn't be allowed to look like that. I also want a pair of "those" boots.

Thanks to the organisers who must have bust a gut to put the event together. We will be back next year if you are.

Yes, if nothing else it was bigger and better then last year!

I have to say that I enjoyed the acoustic stage more then the main stage, but it's nice to have the choice so that's hardly a grumble. :)
