Gentlemen, I know that you're trying to organise something with some charitable intent whilst having a good time, but we only allow the one account per person, and we don't take too kindly to people talking to themselves - it's silly and misleading.
Let us know which member name you wish to retain.
Good luck with finding a venue and give it a chance, you only posted 25 minutes ago!

I liked the use of the word "style", it really made me laugh. However, the "style" being used by both of these people is so bad that is is almost unreadable. If they want to be taken seriously then they need to write in a way that can be understood by the type of people who might have land available. I don't have a car park to lend them but, if I did, I would assume that this posting came from a couple of young children messing about and I wouldn't reply.
youwhatref 26-09-2005, 10:49 Sorry to sound stupid badboyracer but what's exactly involved at these cruises? As if i/we new peopel may be able to help out more.
Skatiechik 26-09-2005, 10:57 orgnizd 1s normly invlve xpensve cars wth loud snd systmes n mods, not ur typical nova n egg box type persn.
Gosh that was hard work, I have never been to one myself. I guess your likely to find the type of person who has spent thousands on a base spec model car and isn't likely to start burning around in it. Or there are those who bought a fast car in the first place and have made it even faster.
I imagine it to be like the ripspeed thing over at Doncaster on a smaller scale.
crusin consist off people with modified cars showing off there car which they have worked hard for and have paid a lot of insurance money to be on the road and they come to talk to mates and meet new people
which rarely have trouble so cruisin is not bad it may have some illegal parts but how can it be bad we are trying to raise money for charity you can say were stupid young children messing about you can keep on livin in you stupid house lookin out of the window complaining and thinking your better than us but your not we are out there earning money to do this and trying to give sum thing back unlike some people

I haven't seen anyone say it was bad on this thread, I see people geuninely interested in what it is and what happens. Personally I don't know if it is bad or not, but you have just put me off finding out for myself.

I don't think he said that people who go to cruises in general are young people messing about. However from the tone of this thread and the professionalism and literacy level shown you can't blame people for forming conclusions.
Classic Rock 26-09-2005, 11:26 Bikers meet at bike shows to show off their customised bikes. This tends to be organised by the bike clubs. Trophys are provided by the clubs. DJs are hired. Stalls are set up. Entrance fees are often charged. Are you doing anything like this?
Your posts seem to be very defensive and you seem to be attacking rather than trying to gain our support. There is nothing at all wrong with customised cars and I applaud the efforts spent in trying to organise something like this, if it is well organised and the charity is supporting the activity. This concept is new to this Forum, perhaps more detail will help us help you. Have you organised anything like this before? The more info you give us, the more we can help - but insulting us won't get you anywhere.
Just one last thing, it's quite difficult to read the way you are typing your posts. Can you try to type as if you aren't on a mobile phone? It just makes it easier. It's not really this Forum's style of typing.

I wasn't saying that crusing is for young children, I was saying that the English is so bad that it is almost unreadable. This kind of writing "style" might be considered OK when communicating with your friends but it makes you look stupid when you use it in public. I doubt that someone who has the gumption to organise a charity event for lots of people is actually stupid so this means they are being let down by a lack of care.
Because it is so badly written, I doubt that anyone will take the request for help seriously. Obviously some people have trouble with their writing or have English as a second language but I am sure that your posting is just careless.
Take the first sentence where you wrote "crusin consist off people with modified cars". You can spell "modified" which would suggest to me that you can probably manage to rewrite the whole sentence in English if you tried.
If you were looking for a job and instead of writing "I am a hard worker." you wrote "i is a hrd wrker innit" then you wouldn't get the job. Asking for help with a charity event is much the same as you are asking someone to give you something for nothing.
any help will be appreciated
