Usually Frost is a really good piece of drama.
Inspector Frost himself is a detective of integrity who gets on with his job.
However, last night the writing was poor, Frost's script had him resorting to unneccesarily snide sexual innuendos.
The story line was inadequate and kept going by showing us frequent graphically disturbing pictures of women who had been tied with tape, humiliated and then slashed to death with a knife.
I stopped watching Waking the Dead because the programme seemed to rely totally on horrible pictures of dead bodies which were flashed up on the screen constantly to remind us there was little of repute in the script.
What does everyone else think?

Can't see ,'Frost ' , here in China but I used to watch it when in the U.K.
IF it is losing its quality , well , that's sad as , in my view , it was a really good , well-thought -out series .
Also , the books on which the T.V. is based are good too -------and I think that's very rare -------good books AND good T.V. programmes .
Long Live Frost and the Anti-Red Tape Gang !!

Perhaps it is just me.
I thought it wasn't anywhere near as well thought out as usual.
Added to which the graphic scenes of knives and slashings gave me nightmares.
For the first time in my life I woke up screaming as the hand with the knife came down on me.
If that was the intention of the producer it achieved its desired effect.
I only hope that there were no would be attackers watching as they were given a lot of useful tips on how not to leave their DNA for eveidence!
I should stick to Midsomer Murders. Much more genteel!
Thanks for your comments, anyway.
