I know I've met more than 100 people from the forum - I've not got time to type all the names though.

I haven't met that many and I can't even explain it away by saying it's quality not quantity as I'm sure all the one's I've not met are nice as well.

I'm really missing the sunday meets now, despite being at freshers in Manchester. I miss PT telling me about her fella, Sian being my advice mum, Sav and Nic ruining men's lives and killing them, learning something new from JoeP and Redrobbo (sometimes at the same time!), Kris and hos embarrassed he is about the hoover story, D2J being eithe roff the booze or the fags (but never both), Uni house sharing stories from Robbie, Edd trying desperatly to remember everyone without the aid of a notebook, DaveJames and his radio stories, Neil and the bondage bear (shudder), Andy with his ability to know EVERYTHING about banks, MTheo cos he seemed to think I knew stuff and J-Blaze just for the porn story.

I miss my chats with RPG too, despite not seeing him at meets.

Incidentally the first Forum meets took place at the Classic Rock Bar ages and ages ago. They used to be monthly spanning about 8 months and I used to knock some food together for those who came down. When the CRB closed the meets moved to the Dev Cat.

I've met shed loads of people from the Forum through meets, through pub visits, through random strangers coming up to me in the street and telling me their user name on here (how did they know it was me?) and I've truly lost count of how many I've met.

No doubt there are many more to encounter yet!

My 3 adult offspring are Members of SF. I have not met anyone else on SF personally.

I read a wide range of posts and get a sense of the good and bad personalities from those posts. I base my views of people from that information, rightly or wrongly.

I don't need to socialise with regular posters on SF, your personalities eventually show through in your posts. Your physical appearance is irrelevent to me, and by not attending Meets I am not involved in social tittle-tattle about other Members.

PM's sent to me are entirely secure, and I would hope that the recipient of PM's from me to them are also treated in the same way. Up to now they always have been so treated.

If I was younger I may think differently about the social benefits of meeting up with fellow Members. In differing capacities as a Member of a Club, I have been there, done that and............ Really I prefer the way things are for me at present! No offence meant to anyone on SF:):thumbsup:
