I dont have a piggy bank but I have one of those saving things where you collect £1's, 50p's and 20p's that has a pad lock on it. When I need change I always dip into it so I dont get to save that much. I do have a copper jar that I never touch which takes me about 6 month to bag a quid up.

i have a ladybird (piggy) bank, but have just recently been bought a purple pig with "booze fund" on it, so will be using that, i however now opt for the safer way to save and use an ISA account, boring but good intrest.

I use the empty tube which once held a bottle of Southern Comfort to save my loose change.
I take it to the Asda coin machine when it's full, it produced about £70 when i last emptied it.

I used to keep all of my loose change in a giant whisky bottle and sort it out every month or so (which absolutely annoyed my boyfriend.) I now have an electronic money sorter so just pour my purse in there at the end of the day, push a button and it sorts it for me. saves so much time.

My boyfriend bought me it for my birthday. Its from Argos and was £20 catalogue number 271/9117. Is the most useful present I have ever received. Can just take the relevant tube out, bag up and take to the bank.

Last time I emptied the change tin and the pound pot and put them in the bank I got £79. This was only a few months ago and they're getting full again- I use it as enforced savings and it works really well. All change gets put in it and from there to the bank. My savings are much happier as a result.
