Anyone fancy a run out to Cadwell park this Sat? (I'm looking at you FG and Muddycoffe) It'll be a great chance to see a big dumb bike stuff it up the inside of some power rangers on their sports bikes. (plus I'll scrub them knee sliders in for you sam :heyhey: )
Is it a public track day, where you can just turn up and run, or is it a pre-book jobby?
How much is it?
Is it the full circuit, or is the mountain omitted?

It's a pre booked track day though I'm sure they have places left . It's through Focused events http://www.focusedevents.com/
£99 and it's the full circuit.

The nearest place of any significance to Cadwell Park is Louth in Lincolnshire, can be a bind to find if you haven't been before.
It costs nowt to spectate at these things.
There are track days here Sat/Sun/Mon this coming weekend.
Fred, what bike shall I look for if I get there, new tyres and weather permitting?
Which group do you see yourself being in?

look for a black bandit 1200. I should have my grey/white/black leathers on. I'll be with a blue R1 and a black fazer 1000. I'll be in the intermediate group. Hope to see you there. Nick.

Get some bloody tyres on it!!!! apart from that make sure you have enough meat in your brake pads. make sure every nut and bolt are tight. check and adjust all levers and cables. problem is i'm not sure they allow people on with restricted liciences. The one's ive booked with dont anyway.

update... My good friend on the R1 highsided at park corner. He was knocked clean out, dislocated his ankle and fracture to his shin bone. The main thing is he's up and talking though he cant remember a thing. his bike survived very well. it totally knocked my confidence seing him laid like that so we cut the day short. I run over my own foot... there was a photographer at the hairpin so i was showing off braking hard while hanging off and locked the front wheel. i put my foot down and it banged up against the exhaust!!! a bit bruised but i'll live. the worst thing is, with what happened i never even thought to collect the photo!!!!!!!!
