Need to pick the brains of anyone who is familiar with Berkshire.
I have managed to get bookings to Heston Blumethal's Fat Duck restaurant for my other half's birthday. However, I am now looking for a place to stay and an 'activity' to do during the afternoon. One hotel I looked at was £500!!!!!! I almost fell off my chair!! Are there any places in that area that offer things like archery etc etc, and or nice places to stay that you can recommend which are in or around the village of Bray?

You will have a superb meal.
It is a real experience.
When we went we stayed with friends nearby.
You could find a B and B on the internet.
It is an expensive area.
There is a lot of boating on the river. I would rent a boat. The Thames is beautiful around there.
