It's okay for a bit of money. It was great for me @ the time, because it gave me two years call centre experience and paid my wages for 2 years. I've now moved on to a place where the money is better, and the atmosphere is better than @ freemans. I'm not knocking it, like I said, it was a job and at the time, I thought it was brill. But now I've left, I've realised that whilst there are worse employers, there are also better employers. I believe the wages there now are £5.80 an hour. There is also a staff shop, plus staff discount from items ordered from the catalogue. There is also a gym and swimming pool, or at least there was when I was there. The hours I worked were a bit crap, as I worked 7am in a morning until 4pm in the afternoon on a Saturday and Sunday. I know they operate from 7am until midnight 7 days a week. So if you're offered a job, be prepared to be given the rubbish hours no one wants like I was. You are able to change your contracted hours, but only if there are other hours available. You may have to wait a while to see what hours come up on the staff notice board. If there is anything else anyone wants to know, just ask. susiebooshoe 04-10-2005, 06:30 PM by the way, when I applied there were a few stages to the interview process. I had a telephone interview. Then I was invited to a keyboard test and then I had a face to face interview as well. waddle86 05-10-2005, 02:23 PM when you had your telephone interview did they invite you to keyboard one straight away? susiebooshoe 05-10-2005, 07:47 PM I rang in the July for the telephone interview and I got asked back in the September for the keyboard test and face to face interview. I then started my training on 1 October. suga 05-10-2005, 08:01 PM hi my dad owns that ha ha ha suckers ;) waddle86 06-10-2005, 12:47 AM get me a job then! richtea 06-10-2005, 04:14 PM I worked there for a bit and it was ok except for the poo hours (was doing the evening shift) and the fact i had a pretty weak supervisor. Wasn't there when i started so got thrown in at the deep end with very little help, and when she did turn up she had a go at me as i'd been one minute late back from one of my breaks. the fact i'd started 5-10 minutes early every day didn't seem to matter. They did let me leave early to catch my tram tho, which i'd arranged with the recruitment people rather then her, so i think the company are reasonable but some of the supervisors have problems. Oh be wary of the cafe - i got a bout of food poisoning from a BLT they sold me (as did somone else on my team) Not really their fault as they come pre-sealed but not pretty either. I didn't eat there again :) susiebooshoe 06-10-2005, 04:34 PM Originally posted by richtea I worked there for a bit and it was ok except for the poo hours (was doing the evening shift) and the fact i had a pretty weak supervisor.
