jus got home from work, theres a right bloody queue, both ways on that road, (dunno if its the right name) its up halifax road, right past toward grenoside area, bloody tarmacing the road, temporary traffic lights. so expect delays if ya plannin on goin that route

Penistone Road, Hanover Way, Brookhill Roundabout etc. are all worth avoiding at the moment. They've been quite busy for the last week or two, but it seems to be getting worse!

It's a horrible site at the end of day's work seeing two solid lines of traffic all the way up the hill to the roundabout. And it's normally made worse by idiots blocking the lights or blocking junctions.

Luckily the weather's not too bad at the moment so I'm using my bike to and from work, so there's no worry for me down the middle of the traffic :clap:

Thanks for the warning- I'll avoid it like the plague.

I went through Hillsborough corner earlier on and over the last couple of days someone has been round with the spray paint and marked several bits so that it looks like they're going to be dug up too- it's a nightmare approaching from the A61 anyway, but it looks like the outer (straight on) lane is going to have a trench in it soon. I think I'll find another way to everywhere, just in case.
