View Full Version : What to do tonight in Sheffield?
nicolap 23-09-2005, 02:29 PM Today i have found myself without my other half. Its not that surprising but i have spent a happy 3 years with him attached to my hip. Any ideas on what to do to get rid of my singular phobia?
P.S i am 37 but still attractive!!!:D
I am also mad. IE Crazeeee Laydeee. Nope, just up for fun!
P.P.S He has gone to Newquay on a Stag do.
Cinema?????? Watch Wolf Creek it's very sick!!
nicolap 23-09-2005, 02:38 PM I have decide to have a couple of mates around for dinner. But, as I live not too far from The Earl i may frequent it. Anyone been? i also have a little freind to help me along the way. How nice.
Any ideas for a dinner party menu?
I'm inviting a Bloke and bird about 10 yrs younger than me.
They enjoy Snowboarding.
CockneyMafia 23-09-2005, 02:48 PM A promotion for singledom if I ever I heard it!
No offence, but I hope I never get to a stage where I am that dependant on a partner, I have to resort to the advice and kindness of strangers, a la Blanche Dubois, when they are not around!!
Cook a good curry. The spices, such a tumeric and cumin, release endorphines which make you feel good!

While the cats away! The mice will play, lol
nicolap 23-09-2005, 03:02 PM Yes i am offended! All that I post is tongue in cheek. I was asking for advice and not criticism. I'm getting the feeling that you are single, have lots of friends - who think you're great - but lack that THING!!! (In your life.) Any way The Earl ? Is it OK?
XXXXX
matt1889 23-09-2005, 03:05 PM sorry if i offended you, was that aimed at me????

the_rudeboy 23-09-2005, 03:07 PM If its the one on Queens Road I've heard its ok these days.
Not been in for quite a while myself.
nicolap 23-09-2005, 03:09 PM Mike, I think its on Queens Road. It seems a bit seedy from the outside. Seedier the better i think. Funky house 2nite. Might see u there!!!
nicolap 23-09-2005, 03:13 PM IT WASNT INTENDED FOR YOU MIKE. (MY BARRAGE OF CRITISCM.) IT WAS INTENDED FOR SOME OTHER BLOKE WHO SAID I WAS SAD. bRANDY IS GOOD!!!
Tommmyyy 23-09-2005, 03:16 PM The Ear of Arundel. Somebody nicked the L. Nice, seedy place, I'd recommend it. Unfornutely holds turbulent memories cos I met the Ex there. Might come along tonight to check you out tho:heyhey:
nicolap 23-09-2005, 03:16 PM By the way, what do you all do for a living and where do you live? I bet we all know someone who knows us. small`world etc.
P.s`I'm not a psycho.
Bisonic_Man 23-09-2005, 04:36 PM The Earl is a good place, I would recommend it.
However, what you reeeeally want to do tonight is to come and see Bison at the Institute for the Blind on Mappin Street. Guaranteed knees-up good time ska-funk fun.
CockneyMafia 23-09-2005, 04:44 PM Easy tiger!
My reply wasnt meant to be taken that seriously!
I am curious to know what THING I lack though! lol
As a footnote the Earl has a pretty eclectic mix in there of a weekend. Though I seem to remember being charged £3 to get in last time round.
PS - I am single, and extremely grateful for it too! :)
Tony45 23-09-2005, 07:29 PM If your single and just looking for other people to mix with for the evening, try this...
