Do not visit this "Foody Pub" The service and cuisine is shocking. We went there last Monday for a family meal and were truly dissapointed.

Half of our intended order was not available. The food when it did eventually arrive was poor. My Lamb koftas were hard. To the tune that you could have easily played the cymbals.

On complaining the "manager" reduced our bill by 2 meals.

However, the whole event was a complete joke. We laughed. Unfortunately the "manager" tittered by, laughing at us! I could have shoved my lamb Koftas down his throat!!

Needless to say, we forwarded an E-mail to Chef & Brewer on our return home.

The place itself is inviting and the views lovely. Other than that,...... erm speechless...

how disappointing.
we went a few weeks back & had to suffer a restricted menu due to kitchen problems. we had to make do with a sarnie, which was ok.
it doesn't bode well for the xmas season then.

Have you been to this particular establishment before? If so, how did you find it then, is this just a one off?

I have on many of occassions and found the place, food and staff to be very good.... but one mans c**p is another mans oyster.

I nearly went here the other week but read a few dodgy reviews about it.

Went to the Dore Moor Inn instead.....very satisfied.

Took the outlaws there a few months ago on a Saturday night. Had to wait 45mins for a table, then we ordered and we waitied .... and we waited .... (you know where this is going). About 1hr 30mins for the food to arrive. We also complained and got a free round of drinks.

Normally Food is good - but don't go on a Sat night !
