I use http://cj.com and http://tradedoubler.com ,I can recommend both, both prefer cj's interface as it's alot easier to use than trade doublers. There's alot out there but I base my judgements on what other clients they have, cj have ebay and tradedoubler have dell and itunes, so I'm reassured there good companies.
Cheers,
Grant

Just run a search to find out about any posts linked to affiliate programs. I have looked at a few now including the ones above. I would like to link to them all but could be costly so I am going to give each one a go over the next year to see how it goes.
Commission Junction, Tradedoubler and DGM have been around for a good ten years now.

I have a Print Manager software application that I developed a while back. From your experience would you think that those sites could generate sales for me? I've tried Adwords directly to the website but it costs too much based on the sales generated.
Affiliate advertising works by giving website owners a commission based on sales or leads. It will be up to you to make your product worth affiliate marketers time and effort.
For a print management tool you would have to think what websites would be relevant marketing springboards.
So from that, I would be looking for sports clubs to advertise my trophies and business websites to advertise my commercial properties.
Looks like a multi stage thing where you set the program up and then contact website owners to see if they are interested in advertising your products for a sales cut or lead.
