2 - Play same six songs for that year whenever you play it. Eg: Whitney Houston 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' from 1987; Fine Young Cannibals 'She Drives Me Crazy' from 1989. (Let's not challenge our listeners too much.)

3 - Get listeners to phone up to guess the year:

"Can I guess the year MATE?"

"Yes you can. Where you calling from MATE?"

"It's Cyril, MATE, from Myers Tyres."

"Go on then Cyril, what's the year MATE?"

"Is it er, 1988 MATE?"

"D' you know what MATE?"

"What's that MATE?"

"You're wrong......MATE"

"Oh am I. Oh never mind MATE."

"Right MATE, see ya."

"Cheers MATE. Torrar."

4 - Multiply 5 times weekly.

5 - Tune into Classic FM to save one's sanity.
