Hey everyone.

I'm coming back to Sheffield next week after 3 and an half years away at Cardiff university.

While I was away, I really got into the Music scene, especially the blues/rock genre. I've been in a gigging band for a year and would really like to continue my playing.

If anyone knows of places, venues, pubs etc that do open nights, or anyone who wants a decent lead/rhythm guitarist to play classic rock and blues....especially Wishbone Ash, ZZ Top, Guns and Roses stuff, could you please leave me some pointers?

Also, which pubs around town regularly have rock and blues type bands on?

try going down to the deep end on tuesdays and the classic rock bar on mondays

yeah, you could try the vine pub or it might be vines on campo lane or another one down that way is called art rom , which i think do open music nights!!

Just asking about it on here is probably enough :)
