You can sign up with force9/plusnet. If you pay an extra £12 when you sign up there is no minimum 12 month contract.

I dont know if they still doing it.But my mate on virgin and he did not have to sign up to a 12m contract.

Virgin now charge the setup fee if you leave in 12 months.
