Inspired by Pattricia's thread on toyboys (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=60750) I wondered if any of you young nubile fit young things would ever consider a Rich Sugar Daddy who would provide for your EVERY need?

For the purpose of this thread lets say a bloke at least 20 years OLDER than you!

Do say why or why not

Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and a stinking rich bloke is often very attractive! ;)

Lets say a bloke who wouldn't get a sideways glance normally.

Just rich...

Lol in my current state of poverty, I'd say YES PLEASE! lol.. Being just 18, would make him 38, at least.... :help:

Someone to keep me in gorgeous shoes/bags/clothes and cars would be fabulous, despite it going against all my desires to be a self made woman...

As for providing for my every need, I might have to take some of my needs elsewhere

Er, probably not then. I'm such an old-fashioned girl! If he was a nice fella that you'd go out with anyway, but not just 'cos he was rich... that's a bit like being a prostitute isn't it.

You've got me thinking now Caprice... maybe if he was just a kindly old gentleman friend, who enjoyed spending money on me, but expected nothing in return... then who could deny such a friend's generosity :D .

My Sister married a guy 21 yrs older than herself... they got together when she was 17 making him 38...

She moved out at the age of 18 married at 21 and lived happily together until 4 years ago... but have remained very good friends... their ages had nothing to do with the split...

I saw him the other week and cant believe hes almost 58 but doesnt look a day over 50... not joking!

If 2 people love one another what is age other than a number... but saying that some women see £ signs in an older guy rather than love... Gold diggers! :gag:

I have never had a relationship with any man the same age or younger than me, so the age bit might not be an issue, but the paying for my life part- no way!

The guilt about the one sided arrangement would be hell to live with and would ultimately make the whole thing untenable, assuming that my circumstances (ie. disability benefits and a private pension) remain the same and I couldn't reciprocate in the looking after stakes.

Well said, Angel - spot on as usual

If two adults love each other/want to spend time together, then age and wealth should be utterly irrelevant.

Age is only a number (as long as it's legal!) - it's the person inside that matters; and being with someone just cos they have money - well, what can I say?:suspect:

hummm... i dont think age is an issue... I like older blokes than lads my age. As for being rich, that doesnt bother me either, aslong as he has a job and doesnt sit on his backside all day watching tv

When I was much younger,
yes I would have loved a sugar daddy. Some one who adored me.
Some-one to turn on the charm for on occasions and the rest of the time your own A sort of business relationship catering for each others needs and not having to wash his socks.
Unfortunately being taught by nuns put all ideas of that sort of relationship out of bounds. So I have always worked and payed my way in llfe. Think in the next life I will be more helpless.

Im 23 so the bloke would have to be 43 - erm i dont think thats a bad thing!

My last serious relationship was with a 39 year old - didnt work out but that wasnt because of his age or our age gap that was because he couldnt be trusted (in any way whatsoever), iv had a fling with a 46 year old - none of them was loaded - they both had jobs - and that wa sufficient enough for me - dont like lazy men such a turn off!

Im very attracted to older men - lads my age do my head in, most of them that i have met are immature.

I cant remember the last time i went out with someone my age!

The main thing for me is love not money - love is worth much more!

I had a friend who married a man thirty years older than her - 10 years older than her dad. They got married in Disney World and to my knowledge are still blissfully happy - He wasn't rich but wasn't short of as bob or two - and was due to retire early 5 years after the marriage - about now in fact! My other friend married her maths teacher who was about 20 years older than her (that was slightly more controversial though for obvious reasons...)

My boyfriend is only 6 weeks older than me and I like it that way - we have a sort of shared history and it means when I want to talk about "the mysterious cities of gold" or "around the world in 80 days with willy fogg" he knows exactly what I'm on about cos they were his favourite programmes too (when we were 8 I should add...)

You can't help who you fall in love with and I think people should grab any chance at happiness they can - we're not here long enough to judge and be judged...

It's all to do with where you are at in your life.
Most of my friends want to talk about Family Parking spaces at Meadowhall and the times of Charlie Chalk's under fives club whereas i want to talk about the last album I bought and what's out at the cinema next week.
Hence I tend to prefer men around the 27 mark who aren't yet wittering on about how their ex-wife has screwed them over and still are living in blissful immaturity like my good self. Although I dated a 26 year old who was at that point already. . .

What's REALLY frightening is when you hear people who're obviously only in their early 20s wittering on about pension plans, mortgages and the like.

Some of the blokes are already losing their hair and looking years older than they are.

Middle-aged in their middle 20s - very sad.

friends with kids scare me. it is all about baby care and nursery places. It is odd the difference between people who settle down early and those who don't
