As there are less and less jobs in the newspapers every week, which internet job sites would you register with to look for work?
I don't mean to register with recruitment agencies (although many do advertise on sites like Monster, Fish4 Jobs & Planet Recruit)
Is it best to choose a specialist one for your job type, ie engineering or accountancy or stick with a general one.
What experiences has anyone had with job sites?
Are you all happily employed?

what type of job are you looking for?
You could try the sheffield jobfinder which has a flash advert on this very page.

I have personally found that, due to the nature of their business, agencies have usually got all the better jobs and therefore would suggest that you find an agency which specific to your chosen career path.
What career path have you chosen, by the way, this may help people in answering you question ?
I'm not looking for a job! I run a recruitment company and am trying to find out which sites people here would search on to determine which sites we should advertise on.
We currently have contracts with Monster, Fish4jobs, & Jobsite but if the consensus is there are better ones then I will look at changing when our contracts are up for renewal.

I use monster and gisajob - although totaljobs is also supposed to be a good one.
And, I'm pretty happy in my current job - always looking for more money though!

Register with Kelly Services. In my experience (and they have found me a permanent position) their performance on my behalf has been sublime.
