check out this website its a few years old as you will tell by some of the buildings that are in the pictures or not in the pictures as the case may be.

it offers some good views of the city centre and it appears bigger than it feels when you're walkin around it. There isnt a pic on there where you can see all the city centre in one shot, i never realised it looked so big, there are some pics of leeds on that site aswel but not half as much as sheffiled, also leeds doesnt look that great from the air i must say

I agree Sheffield looks beautiful from the air; it's so green, too, with parks and woods scattered everywhere.

The major problem with photos from the air is that you get no sense of the majesty of the seven hills of Sheffield; even the mighty Wincobank Hill looks like a flat wood :sad:

Some lovely photo's. Don't know if it was me that missed it - but I couldn't see any photo's that captured Moorfoot, at the bottom of the Moor?
