We are looking at a couple of houses in the area and wondered what it is like, any comments would be appreciated.

I lived on Lathkill Close for years and my parents still do. My sister and several friends live on Masefield Road. The houses on Lathkill are bigger than those on Masefield, parking can be a bit of a pain on Masefield, but not too bad.

My sister and friends have had their garage broken into a few times over the years, but apart from that I don't know of any major probs with crime... There are a few scummers on the woodthorpe estate next door, but overall its not the worst council estate in Sheff and causes few problems.

There are children that tend to play on the roads, but they've always been polite and pleasant to me.
