Anyone know what's happened to Luigi's Italian restaurant in Crookes. I drove past it the other day and its closed down and empty inside. Has it shut forever, been relocated or are they having a re-fit?? I loved that restaurant...simple, cheap and nice food and lovely atmosphere.

Yes it has closed down for good and Luigi is moving back to Italy,had enough of England.
Apparently it's going to be an Indian Restaurant,well an Asian fella's bought it.

I think Maria's has also closed or changed. Luigi's is definately an Indian.

Marias is going to be a chinese apparently.

Come to Francos instead - its gr8.

Maria's is crap anyway.
