I've considered doing this before. The trouble is, where do you get a definitive list of all the pubs in Sheffield?

There is a guide called 'A Real Ale Guide to Sheffield'. Whilst the descriptive entries are limited to those pubs that sell real ale, all the other pubs are listed, and there is an index at the back.
At the time of publication there were 567 pubs in Sheffield.

Or I suppose the alternative is the yellow pages!

good idea in theory but get a phone book out an see how many there are it'll have to be your lives work good luck though.:thumbsup:

What would you class as the distinction between bar/restaurant, I.E would you class the Ha Ha as a pub and add it to the list? There are loads of places like that now.

I'm sort of attached to the pub trade and have been in about 95% of the pubs in Sheffield and probably know them all, but only drank in about 60% of them ( but counting;)
