I have placed 5 posts but it won't let me reply to a PM I have recieved despite allready doing it once, any help anyone?

Nev it should let you reply to PM's if you have 5 posts. However, looking at your post count, you will have only had 4 posts before you started this thread.

If you have any further problems, please use the "contact us" option.

Trouble with making newbies have 5 posts in order to enable PMs is that it encourages spamming IMO, people will just post 5 items of spam in order to fulfill their quota.

Not to mention the fact that post counts are irrelevant, it's post quality that should matter...

We tend to spot this quite quickly, and it simply has the opposite effect by us deleting a bunch of posts to reduce the post count. It's kind of like trying to find the start of a circle :D

The reason that we require 5 posts is precisely to stop spam, of the PM variety.
