I was in Hillsborough today at about 2pm, waiting for a tram to take me into town. A tram pulled in to the stop just outside Deep End, and it was packed with Millwall supporters going to the match.
They were chanting quite loudly, and just after the tram was pulling off, I heard a loud bang.
Some fans inside the tram had kicked one of the doors off the tram!

Cue lots of police rushing towards the tram, and some terrified looking people running away from the scene, including people with kids in pushchairs.
The supporters were goading the police from inside the tram.

Did anybody else witness this kind of behaviour today?

We played football yesterday morning v a group of Millwall supporters - top set of lads and not a spot of trouble despite a few warm tackles in the game from both sides.

Pity you got tonked though, someone should have kicked the young no.7 up in air after his first back flick.

too many players on that pitch wanting to save themselves for sunday...

leave the keeper alone - I'll tell him and he'll batter you ;)

that tram didnt make it to middlewood til 3pm - where did it go in the meantime? or did it take the police an hour to arrest the losers?

then it got taken back to the depot, the staff onboard looked fed up.

From what i saw at the match, Millwall didn't bring enough fans to fill a tram

Wasn't aware of any incidents involving trams before the game but was aware of an "assault" (and I quote a policeman her) on a tram after the game - although a Wednesday mate who was on the tram tells me it was a Wednesday on Wednesday incident.

All a great shame and incidents like this cannot be condoned, although living near H'boro corner tram stop I am aware of previous incidents - not least Barnsley visited H'boro a few seasons back.

Think we made a bit of noise though and more so than the Wednesday fans!?!?! (although I wish that some of our songs/chants weren't used) ;) :clap:
