We're desperate for any nice lovely people out there who are lucky enough to have a vintage car to possibly take myself and my fiance from Ecclesall All Saints Parish Church to Losehill House Hotel near Hope in the Peak District. We realise this is a trek and we'd definitely offer some money, but we just simply cannot afford to pay £200-300 for the one way journey like many companies ask.

Sadly my cars are merely 'old' rather than classic - I doubt you want a lift in a 1999 Mondeo!

Have you considered just buying a Jag then selling it when you're done? You can get a lot of car for not too much cash, and you should get all of it back - and maybe tuen a profit. They're cheap because petrol is so expensive.

This 1994 XJ6 is immaculate (http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201024361236497/sort/priceasc/usedcars/price-to/2000/make/jaguar/postcode/s667jn/radius/1500/quicksearch/true/page/1?logcode=p) for example, and it's up for £795. I reckon you could get it for £750.

Stick it back on Autotrader when you're done, and get your money back!
