If you can open it part way would a small child be able to squeeze through! Do you have the use of another toilet in the house?? If not, don't have a drink whilst your thinking...;) rubydazzler 16-09-2005, 21:04 can you get the door open at all ... this happened to me with a drawer a couple of months ago :O I'd spilled something into it so I emptied it, cleaned it out and tipped it against the wall to dry out. Whe I came back the thing had fallen over behind the door .. grrrrrrr! I managed to open the door a couple of inches and got a hockey stick under the edge and lifted it up until i could tip it back against the wall. It took ages and a lot of swearing and sweating but managed it in the end. A safety gate might be easier to do that with as it's rails and spaces! Best of luck. cgksheff 16-09-2005, 21:13 If you can get any gap in the doorway then all sorts of fishing adventures can commence. If you can't get any space at all then try and get a good strong bloke to wedge himself on the floor and push with his legs at the bottom of the door and hopefully the gate may bend/break before the door does. Even using bits of wood to allow a car jack to be used to force the bottom of the door can be considered. Is there no bathroom window that can be used or broken? pauline 18-09-2005, 01:44 thanks for your help, its sorted now, took the saftey gate out of loo now:blush: cgksheff 18-09-2005, 08:12 Please share withus.
