Francis Crick the father of DNA is probably my pick. I think in the next decade we will whiteness a revolution on Medicine. DNA will help prove many things, like the out of Africa hypothesis, which hopefully will force humans to think of each other as a single race, help reduce racism. It will show Evolution to be correct. It will save billions in preventative healthcare and save millions of lives. It will help us wipe out malaria, create better sources of food.

I think when all said and done our ability to decode DNA will save more lives then antibiotics and make us look at the world in a different way (eventually), more so than Charles Darwin could.
