it's my birthday today, and this weekend we're having a big game of cricket.
The trouble is, the guy who was gonna bring the wicketkeeping gloves can't now, and we're gloves short.

Does anybody out there have any they wouldn't mind lending out for a day on saturday? It would be greatly appreciated!

We're also looking for some spring loaded stumps too, but we're probably gonna buy some of these.

I could lend you my missus' oven-gloves. You wouldn't miss a catch with those. Come to think of it, even Geraint Jones would struggle to drop a dolly with these.

You'll have to scrape last night's furnaced jacket-spud off them first though.

Or if you fancy doing a Swap Shop, I'll swap 'em for some stickle-bricks or Stretch Armstrong.
