Can anyone tell me what I need in order to get started with x box live?
I have a broadband modem and an x box, what else do I need?

Also is anyone else subscribed to it, whats it like?

Had it 2+ years now I think and it's great. Gives old games another lease of life and to be honest some games that aren't particularly good single player are great online. I'd say it's pretty much essential if you have an Xbox to get anywhere near the most out of it.
