This will make two evenings out in the same month, will I be able to cope with the excitement? It's the same day as the school trip to Twycross Zoo but providing he doesn't come home sugared up or with a penguin in his back pocket that doesn't matter.

*visualises the scene at 5.30 pm, at chez For-Brains....*

But, Muuu-uuu--uum, he followed me home!

Can I keep him? Please?

( ;) ;) bet you wouldn't gripe if he sneaked an alpaca home... ;) ;) )

The budget happened, hope you are being sarky. They haven't invented a special yarn tax, we are safe for now:)

Thank you Jill for a lovely evening (and three balls of sock yarn)

The blue baby jacket was not what I said it was, it's Phazalia's Framed baby jacket. The one I've just knitted (photo here (http://www.woolforbrains.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/bjfront1.jpg)) is Phazalia's Mitered baby jacket. They are both good for using odd bits of sock yarn.

I love that mitered jacket pattern. I shall be buying them all. It has been a pleasure to look at them in the shop before they were all too quickly sold for Bluebell Wood Hospice. Thankyou so much for that - it was a really generous thing to do.
