Does anyone have Sat-Nav or anything similar?

If so, can you explain why I should get one - I genuinely cant think of a reason to get it, what can it do that I cant by reading a map?

Probably because it can inform you where and when to make turns. They also featrue street-level maps of the whole country, so you'd need a boot full of A-Z's if you stuck to traditional maps.

unless you can read a map whilst driving it's invaluable when going somewhere unfamiliar.

Better than your girlfriend reading the map, cause even when you go wrong or disagree it doesn't demand that you stop and let her get out and walk.

Its worth it just for the novelty value, get one and find out what you have been missing. I aquired one (tom tom 5) for my mobile phone (nokia6630) and found it very usefull when driving further afield, it doesn't have to be,"look what I've got" value but a tool to asisst in reducing stress whilst driving.;)

Have had tomtom2go for last year or so.
Its great, i do a lot of driving in areas i do not know that well.
Onloy one gripe, sent me the wrong want down a one-way street in Manchester, i was a tad miffed to say the least!
