Isn't that the phone service side rather than the internet ? two seperate issues and departments
yeah telewest were great. I had them for 6 months of a 12 month contract and had to cancel due to being kicked out of a house so the landlord could sell.
They charged me about £150 for cancelling the contract early even though it wasn't my fault.

surely its more your fault than telewest's though? you should pass the cost onto your landlord.

yeah right, it's been 3 months since i had to move out and i'm still trying to get my bond back. All i hear from her is 'theres a problem with the bank' and 'give it another 10 days to come through'.

A 12 month contract is just that, a 12 month contract. Being kicked out may not be your fault, but its not Telewests fault either. AS LL200 says, if anything you should pass the cost on to the landlord. If not succesful then perhaps take it to the small claims court.

Not acording to http://www.adslguide.org.uk/isps/compare.asp it isn't. Try comparing BY to Demon, Metronet or Zen.
BY scores above average but far from the best.

It is Adslguide - your would expect ADSL to rate higher as higher number of ADSL users use that site! :D

they aren't cumulative, they are average.

Lets be careful here, Telewest is by far the best Broadband supplier using coaxial cable to domestic premisies in South Yorkshire.
Without a doubt. ;-)

Not so, the ratings are based upon the average score. If you hover your mouse over each bar in the graph you will see the exact number of user scores for each ISP.
The number of scores given for BY in July is 3832 compared to 1197 for Zen. Zen's average score is higher in all three categories of Speed, Reliability & Customer Service and has been consistently so for the last six months.
