View Full Version : Burger king sour-drinks sting!
pete_fcs 14-09-2005, 17:14 last week burger king's orange drink was off!
i had two... both foul... no refund offered, just insulted by the management!
anyone else with experience of bad service, particularly rotherham store?
Go to their website and fill out a complaint. They send you a voucher and an apology.
pete_fcs 14-09-2005, 17:20 thanks hotphil
just found the site, will phone them in the morning!
:)
I had the same, Sheffield station shop, bought a breakfast with orange juice, by the time I opened the juice I was on my train, so couldnt take it back, but soon as I took the lid off I noticed green mould growing round the inside of the bottle neck. Luckily I hadnt drunk any of it.
pete_fcs 14-09-2005, 18:00 ugh!
spoke to a friend who runs a cafe.... says it's not just the use-by date but the storage....
so i think burger king or their suppliers hadn't stored their orange juice correctly!
i'm off to get a life....:hihi:
pete_fcs 16-09-2005, 19:26 well i rang them two days running.... no-one answered... left two messages.... no-one rang back
i'm off to macdonald's! :hihi:
pete_fcs 21-09-2005, 21:26 five days on and still no reply!

*Twinkle* 21-09-2005, 21:40 In the cafe I work in, if we don't take the juices out of the fridge at night, they kind of explode and froth up, then mould... As I found out one morning when I opened the unit and found 6 exploded juices for me to clean up
I never thought juices were dangerous lol!
pete_fcs 21-09-2005, 21:54 sounds like the ones i had at burger king might not have been stored right or transported properly!
but you'd think they'd thank me for tellin' 'em! instead of them being RUDE!
:o :)
thetorch 21-09-2005, 23:30 as someone who used to work for Burger King, not surprised this has happened. it's not usually the management's fault but the staff members instead. there aren't loads of people wating to work at Burger King becuase of how shi*e the job is; serving people at tills who are openly rude to you; cleaining the tables free of rubbish is poor; then comes the food prep etc not a good job at all... Burger King will more or less employ anybody it is a business at the end of the day so they are there to make money rather than actually care for their customers. anyhoo, i no longer work for this company and I can tell u plenty of horror stories!
The rotherham store is dire i've heard... not actually been to the restaurant myself but know how old and dingy the place is. There is a manager there Andrea who is ace! She will listen to customers and do her best to please them... people like this don't come around regulary but if they did the whole world would be a better place.
Valley Centertainment (not that old so new in certain aspects) have hard workin staff (which are overworked - have friends who work there) - but its a shame that those black sheep within the staff let the place down. these individual's cs skills are appauling and they deserve a disciplinary.
Meadowhall. no comment.
Haymarket (sheffield market). Is steadily improving but having the freezer directly under the male toilets is wrong! trust me! (Toilets do overflow! - ugh!)
Don_Kiddick 22-09-2005, 09:00 Contact BBCs WATCHDOG - they love stuff like this
Or even Short Changed - the kids version!
There's one woman who I usually see at the station one and she always looks so grumpy! I wouldn't ever want to have to complain to her! She doesn't even seem to try words like 'Thank you' or anything. Gah! Grumpy peeps annoy me!
burnttoast 22-09-2005, 11:20 Its no good grumbling about it .Its simple .Just dont use these places.
thetorch 23-09-2005, 08:45 I try not to. prefer subway anyhoo...

That'll be because Burger King will assume that anyone buying their 'food(?)' possesses no tastebuds.
