Having my 21st birthday in The Earl on Queen's Road in a couple of weeks but quite desperately looking for an after party venue now, as The Earl closes promptly at 2am and I really, passionately do NOT want to get dragged to one of the many raves that will be on that night to follow on from Sharrow Festival.

Does anyone know of anywhere in sheffield where houses are hired for just one night, or of a landlord with an empty house who'd be willing to let it for £100 maybe? If i absolutely have to I'd be willing to pay any home owner with a big enough gaff a hundred whole pounds out of my very limited funds for the favour of lending me their house for the night.

you might be asking a bit too much there!

you'd have to pay one heck of a deposit, as the chances of a party in a house unattended by the owner winding up in a mass of destruction are pretty huge!

Are you serious? Not wanting to squash your thread or anything but nobody in their right mind would hire their house out for an after party, especially not for £100.

After allowing my daughter to have her 18th at my house a £1000 wouldn't be enough to put me through that again!!

I was aiming it at young people who live in party houses anyway who wouldnt mind throwing a party in their house. This being Sheffield the world's smallest village if anyone actually responded positively to this thread i'd probably know them somehow anyway. Complete strangers who wouldnt be invited to the party wasnt what i was thinking. I have in the past had a variety of these sorts of venues to choose from, regular party houses whose inhabitants do nothing but, however everyone i know seems to have calmed down this year, got jobs and lives, that kind of thing, which is why i was looking elsewhere.
