Where abouts are you based? And whats your transport situation like?

There's good free fishing in crookes valley park (just off crookes valley road). Check out :

http://www.sheffield.gov.uk/out--about/parks-woodlands--countryside/parks/events--activities/fishing-

for other free fishing sites.

There is also good day ticket fishing at KJS in killamarsh (so i've been told) and a load of other sites.

Some other links that might help :

http://www.yorkshirefishing.net/
http://www.go-fish.co.uk/yorkshiresouth.htm

Also ask in your local fishing tackle shop.
