View Full Version : Are you a fake brunette? tamarindl 12-09-2005, 18:15 just wondering how many people are fake brunettes or simply covering grey? weenireeni 12-09-2005, 18:25 Hi Im a natural brunette, but dye it every montha diff colour, this month however i am a dark brown, darker than natural colour so yes, i am a fake brunette! DragonofAna 12-09-2005, 21:07 I am a natural brown haired bloke who has gone a mite grey over the years - stress and such - you know how it is. A short while ago I let my daughter loose with a blonde hair dye my ex had left behind when she left. I got these blonde streaks down the back of my head like a claw mark. It looked good, but has since washed out/grown out. Do not think I will bother again. Nothing wrong with going grey. Er! Sorry - was this aimed at females? If so - ignore my post completely because I am not. Dragon Kristian 12-09-2005, 21:12 I'm very dark haired naturally and like most people with black hair, I'm starting to go a little grey around the temples. I see nothing wrong with slapping a bit of Loreal Feria Colour on my barnet every couple of weeks! :D Anything I can do to stop the ageing process, I'm gonna do it! feargal 12-09-2005, 21:17 Oooh, you want to be careful that you don't accidentally dye your face. Remember Feargal's handy hint for removing stray dye: mix fag ash and milk to a paste and rub it on the dyed bit. You'll smell like a milky ashtray, but it does work. Honest. :o Kristian 12-09-2005, 21:22 Originally posted by feargal Oooh, you want to be careful that you don't accidentally dye your face. :o Blabbermouth! :hihi: tamarindl 12-09-2005, 22:04 Originally posted by Dragon I am a natural brown haired bloke who has gone a mite grey over the years - stress and such - you know how it is. Dragon open for men and women, just watched yet another advert for hair dye for brunette's and was wondering how many fake brunettes there were out there. as there are many "new" blondes wondered if the reverse was true. i had an exceptionally bad experience with a home dye kit to go blonde and went carrot!!! can giggle about it now but oh the horror at the time. :) WallBuilder 12-09-2005, 22:33 Originally posted by Kristian I! :D Anything I can do to stop the ageing process, I'm gonna do it! Sorry I know this is completely off topic but just noticed this amazing claim, does this mean no more heavy drinking [I'm only going on what I've read on other threadds] Kristian 12-09-2005, 23:55 Originally posted by WallBuilder Sorry I know this is completely off topic but just noticed this amazing claim, does this mean no more heavy drinking [I'm only going on what I've read on other threadds] That's liabelous Wallbuilder! (I'm only 33 but been going grey sinse I was 15) I have finally given up and dyed it blond.... ( better colour to cover the old grey) ... as for blonds have more fun ... eh !! I have fun whatever colour my hair is :D ( don't know about putting ash in the mixture to get the dye off but I agree with the milk part ..... it does really work ..... try it) _Ren 13-09-2005, 11:18 I'm a fake brunette, naturally blonde but it just doesn't suit me as much! |
