I watched the 6 o'clock news today for the first time in ages. For once I wasn't clicking on what I wanted to read about or see, it was being streamed at me. Scary stuff. It could really influence the opinions of stupid people.

One point from the OPs quote is true; the Media does make people believe in untruths. Just Google 'fauxtography' and you can find a number of blogs and detailed reports where people have demonstrated how the media have attempted to alter perceptions (often successfully) of current events through various means including photoshop, cropping of photos to remove things that don't follow the narrative they are pushing and the staging of photographs.

However the website the OP links is as guilty of this as any MSM. The kindest description of owner of that site would be a conspiracy theorist and from there the descriptions go downhill as you dig deeper.
