Anyone got any clues as to what was going off down there yesterday? Several police cars blocking junctions off.

In the afternoon. I didn't see it....my mate at work told me. We work nearby.

Isn't there a Post Office money depot on Carbrook St/ Dunlop St. ? Used to see a lot of their armoured vans going in and out of that very secure looking building on the corner.

Yeah there is. And that was my initial thought.

The was also a convey of police cars driving through without lights too.

It was about 8pm.

there was an attempted armed robery at the post office building on carbrook street on sunday night. my mate owns carbrook hall pub i got there just after it happened
