Haven't travelled by train for a while and wondered if anyone knows if there are luggage lockers at stations these days, in particular Lincoln.

MrH 12-09-2005, 16:52 I'm not sure you will find lockers at any train station any more, for fear that someone will leave a bomb in one Cols 12-09-2005, 17:05 I used the one at Kings Cross in London last week. £5.50 for 24 hours. The bags were scanned by x-ray. Not Lincoln, I know but they still exist. Grissom 12-09-2005, 17:16 There is a similar facility at Liverpool Lime Street  bornandbred 12-09-2005, 17:22 Thanks for your replies. I thought the the high security these days would have affected the service. Grissom 12-09-2005, 17:26 According to this page there is no left luggage at Lincoln http://www.centraltrains.co.uk/_popups/stations/station_details.asp?id=lincoln but there IS a lost property desk - I wonder if some people get around this by handing their stuff in, claiming it as being stuff they have found, and then collect it later by claiming they lost it [only a 2 quid fee !] :P cgksheff 12-09-2005, 17:26 If you want to confirm what is at Lincoln, Central Trains Customer Service is available: 7am and 7pm - Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays on 0121 634 2040 JIJSKKCB 13-09-2005, 11:06 i dont think they are any these days |
