I have always used "Outlook Express",but I notice when I come onto the Internet there is a cursor flashing on the BT Yahoo internet mailbox.I have to put my user name in and password,so could I use either of these E Mail Sites ?Both Out look Express, and BT yahoo Internet Mail ?
Not sure if you can use it pattricia but i'm using 4 at the minute. 2x GMail, 1x AOL Mail and 1x Yahoo Mail account.
I would have thought you could use the BT Yahoo mail account :)
Outlook express is just a software package residing on your PC that gathers your e-mail from the server at yahoo.
You can use the internet to go off and look at your e-mail whilst it's still on yahoo's server
Hope that clears things up ;)

u only pay 1 isp - who could be bt etc.
u can ahve anynumber of email addresses
i have 5 on yahoo
3 on bt
2 on hotmail
1xvirgin
and a website witha further 5.
All my email address's are free accounts pattricia. I've never used Outlook Express to be honest. I prefer to use the online facilities of my email account providers.
For a GMail account you will need an invitation sending to you. If you want one just PM me your preferred name and the email address you are using now and i'll send you one. GMail has a massive 2.5GB of online storage at the minute and it goes up all the time so there is no need to save emails on your computer ever again 8)
The AOL account came with my AOL contract.
For a free Yahoo email account just Click Here (http://uk.docs.yahoo.com/mail/SignUpPage.html) and fill in the registration form :)
Hope this helps :)

Basically, email and ISP are 2 different things. Your ISP connects you to the internet, some provide email with their accounts. You can also set up other email addresses without using any of their other services.
When you connect to the internet via your ISP you're free to go wherever you want, and this includes to use other ISP's email services if you so wish.
It's a bit like buying an Orange mobile and being able to ring people on any network, sort of, a bit. You don't need to know how, just that you can.
